Brief Biosketch | While working as a general Pediatrician in one of the oldest super-specialty, premier teaching hospitals in Nepal, the Institute of Medicine, I fostered a keen interest in neurodevelopmental disorders, and so did the Indian Academy of Pediatrics fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. I have been evaluating and managing Nepalese children with these disorders in detail since then. I identify myself also as a national Pediatric HIV and, Infant and Young Child feeding Counselling trainer. Conducting Pediatric researches coincide with my areas of interest. My recent publications as first author include 1.Comparative Analysis of Effectiveness of Online Versus Offline Parent-Mediated Therapeutic Intervention in Preschool Children With Autism Spectrum Disorder. Int J Clin Pediatr. 2024;13(1):14-25 doi: https://doi.org/10.14740/ijcp538 2. A Rare Case of Mosaic 3pter and 5pter Deletion-Duplication with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Dyskinesia. Case Rep Genet. 2023 Oct 16;2023:7974886. doi: 10.1155/2023/7974886. My motto in life has been “When you have lemons, make lemonade!” Collaborative efforts lead to effective and sustainable outcomes. With this insight, the South Asian Neurodevelopmental, Behavioral Environmental Pediatrics Association aims for each child’s optimal growth and development in a nurturing environment. |
