I am a Paediatrician who has strived over the last 20 years, as a clinician, academic and a researcher in Sri Lanka to establish dedicated services for children with developmental needs and disabilities. I have lead multidisciplinary teams to establish evidence based clinical practices. I achieved this through capacity building, conducting innovative research to optimize care for children with developmental disabilities and bringing about positive changes in the lives of their families.
